website content?

i want to make a website. i've had one before, with just links & stuff, but i want one that is really interesting. give me some suggestions for content that you like to see on sites.

1. depends on the site...book list web sites i want to see the author, book type..and so on and so forth......games and entertainment....there would be links to games..updated games..stuff like that...hope that helps..
